There was a merchant in Bagdad who sent his servant to market to buy provisions and in a little while the servant came back, white and trembling, and said: "Master, just now when I was in the marketplace I was jostled by a woman in the crowd and when I turned I saw it was Death that jostled me".
William Somerset Maugham
Once in a while, you´ll come across a story that makes you think. The simple story of the professor with the mayonnaise jar & two cups of coffee is one of those gems.
Go the extra mile: to go beyond what is necessary or expected in order to please someone, achieve something, or get something done correctly. If you go the extra mile, you make a special effort to do or achieve something.
Here´s a great story about a rich dad who want to show his son the difference between rich people and poor people. But, in the end, it´s the rich dad who learns the lesson.
A little girl walked daily to and from school. Though the weather that morning was questionable and clouds were forming, she made her daily trip to school. As the afternoon progressed, the winds whipped up, along with thunder and lightning.

- Rebuilding the World
So often we want to change the world for the better, but we don´t bother because the task seems too big. This story reminds us to start with the people around us. For me that means, positively influencing others and helping them in their relationship with Jesus. Let´s start now, one life at a time. Who are you going to help rebuild first.

"If You love something... let ig go, if it comes back to you it´s your, if it dosen´t, it never was"

"There are two ways of spreading light;
to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it"
The first to present projected moving pictures to a paying audience (i.e. cinema) were the Lumière brothers in December 1895 in Paris. At first, films were very short, sometimes only a few minutes or less. They were shown at fairgrounds and music halls or anywhere a screen could be set up and a room darkened. Subjects included local scenes and activities, views of foreign lands, short comedies and events considered newsworthy.
During the 1930s and 1940s, cinema was the principal form of popular entertainment, with people often attending cinemas twice weekly. In Britain the highest attendances occurred in 1946, with over 31 million visits to the cinema each week. While cinemas had some success in fighting the competition of television, they never regained the position and influence they once held, and over the next 30 years audiences dwindled. By 1984 cinema attendances in Britain had sunk to one million a week. Since then, however, that figure has nearly trebled with the growth of out-of-town multiplex cinemas following the building of the first British multiplex at Milton Keynes in 1985. Today, most people see films on television (whether terrestrial or satellite or on video of some kind) and we are also moving towards a web-based means of delivery.
I like watching movies. I prefer to watch feeling good movies and drama but really watch movies in all genres. Here I put together the movies I think are the best I have seen. The list will probably never be complete and you readers will surely have views on how I have categorized certain titles.
